The 2011 2012 Jaguar S is a 4-door luxury sedan that is available in three models, an entry level 3.0, a 4.2 l and a supercharged R model. The entry level 3.0 is powered by a 3. 0 Liter Duratec engine manufactured by Ford that produces 235 horsepower. The 4.2 Model derives its power from a 4.2 Liter V8 engine that is rated at 300 horsepower. The R model is powered by a supercharged 4.2 Liter V8 engine that is rated at 400 horsepower. All three models are equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2011 2012 Jaguar S-Type entry level model is equipped with 18 inch tires, leather seats, heated front seats, a moon roof and there is a system that helps the driver park the vehicle. The S-Type 4.2 model is equipped with a trunk located CD player which is rated at 140 watts and an Alpine music system, a power operated rear window sunshade, expensive carpets, GPS, sensors in the front that help the driver park the vehicle and large brakes. All The features available on the 4.2 are available on the entry level model as options. The S-Type R model is equipped with 19 inch tires, a suspension including large sports tuned brakes , a split rear seat, and cruise control.
The 2011 2012 Jaguar S model is equipped with six airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control. The S-Type sedan has a beautifully finished interior with wooden trim but the seats are small and its gear shifter is not easy to use for some drivers.
