The 2008 2009 Chevrolet Suburban is a sports utility vehicle that can seat 6 to 9 passengers. The Suburban is available in two body types, half ton and 3/4 ton. Both the body types are available in three versions, LS, LT and LTZ. All three versions are equipped with either rear wheel or four wheel drive. While the half ton models are powered by a 5.3 Liter V8 engine that is rated at 320 horsepower, a 6.0 Liter V8 engine rated at 352 horsepower powers the 3/4 ton. All half ton versions are equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission, while the 3/4 ton versions are equipped with a six speed automatic transmission.
The Suburban LS version is equipped with air conditioning, heater in the back, a tilt steering wheel wrapped in leather, and music system buttons located on it, OnStar system, cloth seats, a powered drivers seat that can be adjusted in 6 different ways, a music system that has AM/FM radio and a player that can store 6 CDs/MP3 that is located in the dashboard, and a satellite radio. The 2008 2009 Suburban LS model is equipped with bucket seats in the front, a console in the center, and its radio buttons are located at the back. The LTZ version of the Suburban is equipped with seats made of leather, its front two row of seats are heated, front seats can be adjusted in 12 different ways using power, a music system that has AM/FM radio and a player that can store 6 CDs/MP3 that is located in the dashboard, wipers that can sense rain and its engine can be started with a remote control.
The 2008 2009 Chevrolet Suburban is equipped with anti-lock brakes, stability control, curtain air bags on the side for all passengers and a system to warn the driver if the vehicle is about to roll over. The Suburban has a pretty nice interior with good materials used in its construction. There's plenty of space for one to store luggage in the vehicle and if one removes the third row of seats one adds to the immense space already there.
