2008 2009 BMW 5 series review
The new 2008 2009 BMW 5 Series has been designed so to give more power and better mileage. The 5 series in the model year 2008 2009 comes in 6 different model types. All the 6 model types have been provided with more features and better engine than the 5 series models of the earlier years. The 2008 2009 BMW 5 Series is available in 6 different model types, with 5 models sporting the 6 cylinder engine and one model with a v8 cylinder engine. The 528i sedan has been given a 3.0 liter engine N52 6 inline engine, whereas the 535i has been provided with an optional sport automatic transmission.
The 2008 2009 models has been given a new front look, with newer rear lights. The 5281 and 528xi models are equipped with 17 inch tires, front row seats that are powered, a sunroof and an iDrive system that can be programmed to set radio stations. Added to these features are xenon headlights and lumbar support on the 535i and 535xi models, whereas the 535xi wagon also sports a folded rear seats and powered tailgate. In the 550i model one gets parking assist and leather upholstered seats.
The high tech features included in the 2008 2009 BMW 5 Series are active cruise control that warns the driver that the car in front of him is getting too close. The latest system to be featured in these cars is a system which warns the driver when he is changing lanes so that he avoids crashing into other cars. The car also has a head display for the driver and an ignition system that does not need a key.
The 5 Series cabins have been made keeping the occupant's comfort in mind. People sitting in the front of the car have been given more head and shoulder room. The same has been provided for those seated in the back of the car. Now two adults can seat comfortably in the back. While the sedan models have been provided with 14 cubic feet of trunk space the wagons get 34 cubic feet of trunk space.
If the cars' interiors have been changed so have the exterior undergone some changes. For instance the sedan and sports wagon models come with headlights that have the latest clear glass technology. Indicators have been given transparent glass panels. The rear lights of the 2008 2009 BMW 5 Series have also got the clear glass technology and have now been equipped with LED indication directors.
